INTERNAL GUIDELINES
For private companies, we have created the following policies for SLFR Group members:
- The prospective clients have the option of submitting the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as part of the engagement process to ensure their privacy. We have an NDA created if your company cannot provide one, for a nominal fee.
For public companies, we have created the following policies for SLFR Group members:
- We will not trade between when the engagement is accepted and at the time the CEO posts the monthly financials of their company.
- The names of the companies from any current holdings of SLFR Group members will be publicly available for viewing so that all possible conflicts of interest will be known.
For Audit, we have created the following policies for SLFR Group members to follow and suggestions for Exchanges:
- We will not conduct an audit of the same company where we have also provided services of Financial Reporting and/or Professional Review in the past six months.
- We will not conduct an audit of the same company where we have also held Directorship (eg. Board of Directors, CFO)
- Exchange owners will freeze trading for everyone on the Exchange until the audit review is complete
- Exchange owners will verify if SLFR Group members hold any trading positions of the Company being audited. If either party holds any positions, the audit engagement will not be accepted as this may impair our judgment as we hold financial interest.
